MSB-Dealer in Virtual Currency. I let my license go a few years back because I wasn't able to get the traction needed to lift the business off the ground. Here I go again! This time around I've decided to use a corporate structure for a variety uses and won't hear the concern that the business is registered under a personal name. I think I may have been the only one in the early days to do this? Nevertheless...bitcoin surpassed $100,000 canadian just yesterday. Be on the lookout for more information. ekosi.

Not only have I gone ahead and created the structure for digital assets but I'm also learning, perhaps relearning how to manage money. I've questioned my relationship with money many times over. Learning how to self-custody your own money can be a slippery sloop, especially if you've been trained to give it to someone else to take care of...ekosi

TEA. When the Ogima talked about transparency, engagement, and accountability I understood. This trio is important when dealing with electors, the elected, and the non-electors.

I don't need to go into any description on the happenings of the past. It's done. However, the residual outcomes are still being felt. Corrective action is imperative. What the corrective action is will vary with each situation.

TEATECH is a platform designed to address these three areas. The platform is constantly being updated. New information is uploaded almost daily. The more the platform is used the better for business analytical purposes. Data gives quantifiable information to work with.

In order for us to develop valuable data the platform needs your participation. You want to know who's doing what, where, and when? All of the information and much more can be found in the teatech platform.

The platform is a permission-based system, which means by invitation only. Once you've been invited you can then start inviting others to the TEATECH community.

TEATECH has three main categories including community, classroom, and calendar. Community is very much like facebook, except this one is private. No one outside of the invited community can participate in the community. Next is the classroom section where seven components are named including organization chart, chief's desk, councillor portfolio, public services delivery, master budgets, vendor ally, and government ally.

Let me know if you want to be invited. Message me. Ekosani

Representation. Every two years the development of elected representation is front and center under the Indian Act. The rules are clear. Unfortunately, this is the system that was imposed on the peoples and this is the method accepted today as the means of selecting band office representation. ANYONE can run for office...as the saying goes. There's no other criteria for office other than acquiring majority votes from electors.

So one gets nominated first and then seconded by someone in the same meeting space (I say meeting space to imply not just the physical presence but also digital presence coming soon?). Nevertheless, once confirmed as candidate the fun begins.

In a book I wrote back in 2010 entitled, Majoritarian: How to Optimize on the Majority Rule in Native Country goes into detail on some of the benefits of being an elected representatives-chief and council. Although I identified over 75 different benefits of being an elected representative, I narrowed it down to 29.

To paraphrase my own book for the purposes of brevity, I will say that it's the benefits that keep people coming back to become an elected representative. Ask people who have been reelected for 5 or more terms. It can become an obsession for some, while others will just cross their hands and pray for a good outcome for them. Nothing wrong with prayer.

When I review some of the candidates for office in previous years I have to wonder another related thought. Yes, it feels good to be on council. Yes, there are numerous benefits of which you can find in the majoritarian book. Yes, all elected are uplifted. However, one thing still puzzles me about the people getting back into office year after year and no results. No change. No recent developments. Yet, continue to put their name in as candidate. They know they haven't done what they've promised to do all those years! Maybe?

Another reference I'd like to point to for more reference is the academic thesis I did regarding the role of chief and the local economy. This one you'll have to ask for unless you're in graduate studies and you can access the paper through institutional means. In summary, when I examined 15 variables, none of them made a difference in terms of pushing economic development further. What made the difference is the individual. Their interest in economy, entrepreneurship, business, commerce is what differentiate them from the rest.

Through the last 15 years, the peoples have placed people with social services backgrounds and such into office. The last entrepreneurial type of chief was the late Pascal Bighetty. Perhaps now is the time as well to get someone in there with this type of interest, background, and life. What type of leader is required this time around? When I say leader Im referring to senior councillor know as the chief.

Hidden. You can pretend. You can misdirect. You can fool people. The true nature eventually bubbles up. Over a decade ago when I agreed to the title of community manager I shared with the chief elected representative at the time to watch how he engage people and that treating people as if they're exploitable will come back on you. This is colonial attitude. I got dismissed (without knowing until 30 days later). Narcissism is deep amongst the elected, especially the chief counsellor role.

This is the second time Arlen has made the news about sexual misconduct. The first one he may have gotten away with but the second time will be harder to be released. He will be viewed in this manner no matter where he goes after this. I bless him. Even though he mistreated most of his relatives, he's been programmed deeply just as much as all of us. Let's not be narcissistic and act the way the colonial act with this type of scenario. They judge hard. They also are hypocrites to the fullest.

Nevertheless, the sysyem of government is really not government. It's more about administration. Administering the policies imposed by the government. Administering the transfer payments received. Administering the directives forced upon the band. However, Chief Clarence Louie (REz Rules) has made such a difference as an elected representative under the Indian Act. This tells me (again) it all depends on how you think. In fact, my MBA thesis came out with the same conclusion.

The Grand Chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs, (AMC) one of the most powerful Indigenous leaders in this province, has been accused of sexual assault, and…

12 way MOST chief and council operate these days:

1. Play favorites.
2. Punish responsible mistakes. Know the difference between punishment and consequences.
3. Exclude them.
4. Do their job for them.
5. Make self-serving decisions.
6. Make decisions without listening.
7. Discount effort when results fall short.
8. Penalize success by constantly expecting more.
9. Take credit and give blame.
10. Discount experience and minimize feelings.
11. Don’t follow through on commitments.
12. Dwell on the past.

How can Pukatawagan people get ahead with these types of barriers from the people who are elected? Perhaps each one will say, it's not me, it's them!
