Our Father’s Day BBQ was filled with delicious food, wonderful company, and plenty of smiles as residents, families, and staff came together to celebrate the remarkable fathers and father figures in our community.

From freshly grilled BBQ favourites to sweet treats and refreshments, every detail helped create a memorable afternoon enjoyed by all.

What a wonderful Father’s Day celebration we had at Bayview Seniors Community! 💙
Our residents, families, and team members came together to honour the incredible fathers and father figures who are such an important part of our community.
The afternoon featured a delicious Father’s Day BBQ, live entertainment, and plenty of laughter and connection. We had a beautiful ather’s Day gift basket draw, which was won by Jacqueline, the wife of one of our residents. Congratulations, Jacqueline!
We were also treated to a lively belly dancing performance that had everyone smiling, clapping along, and enjoying the festive atmosphere.

Today, we’re celebrating the incredible fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers, and father figures who are part of the Bayview family. 💙

To honour the outstanding men in our community, we’re hosting a special Father’s Day BBQ along with live music from Len Nederlof. It’s a wonderful opportunity to come together, share stories, enjoy great food, and celebrate the many contributions these remarkable individuals have made throughout their lives.

We also want to recognize the dedicated men on our team whose compassion, kindness, and commitment help make Bayview feel like home every day.

Our Walking Club enjoyed getting out into the community this weekend, taking in the fresh ocean air, beautiful scenery, and spending quality time together over lunch and conversation.

Regular outings like these are about so much more than exercise. Staying active, connecting with others, and enjoying familiar local favourites can have a positive impact on both physical and emotional well-being. Whether it's sharing stories over coffee, enjoying a walk along the waterfront, or simply spending time with friends, these moments help create a true sense of belonging and community.

It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with seniors, families, community partners, and local organizations. We enjoyed sharing information about our long-term care, memory care, respite care, and palliative care services, while answering questions and meeting so many friendly faces.
