💙 is a time to celebrate the incredible contributions, resilience and spirit of older adults in Durham region! 💙

Kelly is a long-term care resident, who leads with passion and purpose as the President of Residents’ Council. She is a dedicated advocate, working to enhance the quality of life of all her fellow long-term care residents.

Kelly participates in a divisional committee that makes recommendations regarding the lived experience of residents within the home and provides input regarding how operational decisions are experienced by those receiving care. She also contributes her time to the gift shop, further supporting the life and vibrancy of our community.

Through volunteering, leadership and compassion, Kelly demonstrates that meaningful contributions don’t stop with age—they simply take new and impactful forms.
