At tomorrow evening's June 23 Council meeting, staff will present the 2025 Statement of Financial Information (SOFI). This is a provincially mandated accountability tool which offers an annual snapshot of municipal spending, revenues and expenses.

As required, the SOFI report lists all employees with remuneration of $75,000 or higher and their remuneration. The listed amounts are not reflective of someone's take-home pay.

An employee's remuneration includes regular earnings, overtime, sick and vacation pay, and taxable benefits. The figures also factor in retroactive pay following wage settlement agreements.

The SOFI represents one piece of our financial journey. Today we launched our annual online budget survey. We invite you to participate and learn about how we approach our finances all year round.

You can learn more about the SOFI here ➑️ https://www.whistler.ca/news/understanding-the-sofi-report/
