Meadow Park Sports Centre annual maintenance closure information

This summer, Meadow Park Sports Centre will close to undergo important annual upgrades. We close the pool area and Meadow Park Sports Centre facility each year for regular maintenance to keep it clean, safe, working properly and making sure it lasts for year to come.

🛟The pool area closes Monday, August 17 and is scheduled to reopen Monday, September 28.

📣 The entire facility closes Saturday, August 29 and is scheduled to reopen Tuesday, September 8.

Meadow Park Sports Centre hot tub closure alert. 🚨

The hot tub is currently temporarily closed due to a leak in the heat exchanger. A new unit is expected to arrive in three weeks.

The sauna and steam room remain open. ✅

We are verifying residency for all recreation program users to ensure fair access and accurate pricing.

Please note, your resident status will change to non‑resident on June 22 until you visit Meadow Park Sports Centre to verify your residency in person.

To receive resident rates and priority registration, customers must confirm their residency in person before June 22.

Please bring:
✔️ Photo ID with address
✔️ Proof of residency (most recent bill, current lease or tax notice)

Our Recreation Department prioritizes access to programming for Whistler residents, whose taxes support these facilities and programs.

We charge non-residents an additional access fee to cover maintenance and investment to keep recreation as safe and affordable as possible for everyone including residents and non-residents.

Summer recreation program registration begins soon!

Discover fitness programs to help you achieve your summer goals, and register in swim lessons to build your child's confidence around the water. Programs are viewable online as of Thursday, June 4 at 9 a.m.

Meadow Park Sports Centre is hosting a swim meet this coming weekend!

Please note that the entire pool area (lap pool, leisure pool and hot spots) will close at noon on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 from 12 to 7:15 p.m. to support the Whistler Sea Wolves swim meet.

Lap pool and hot spots will re-open at 7:15 p.m. The fitness and boxing studios will also be closed, while changerooms and showers remain open.

Thank you for your understanding and support for local youth sport, and best of luck to all the meet participants.
