Our Recreation Department prioritizes access to programming for Whistler residents, whose taxes support these facilities and programs.

We charge non-residents an additional access fee to cover maintenance and investment to keep recreation as safe and affordable as possible for everyone including residents and non-residents.

Summer recreation program registration begins soon!

Discover fitness programs to help you achieve your summer goals, and register in swim lessons to build your child's confidence around the water. Programs are viewable online as of Thursday, June 4 at 9 a.m.

Meadow Park Sports Centre is hosting a swim meet this coming weekend!

Please note that the entire pool area (lap pool, leisure pool and hot spots) will close at noon on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 from 12 to 7:15 p.m. to support the Whistler Sea Wolves swim meet.

Lap pool and hot spots will re-open at 7:15 p.m. The fitness and boxing studios will also be closed, while changerooms and showers remain open.

Grom Squad is BACK!🌲🚲

This after-school bike program is the perfect way to kick off mountain bike season.

Over 8 fun-filled sessions, kids will build confidence, learn new skills, and ride with friends in a safe, supportive environment.

Whether they’re brand new or already shredding, everyone progresses at their own pace. Programs are staged out of Myrtle Philip Community Centre.

What they’ll learn:

• trail riding basics to advanced bike skills
• trail etiquette and bike maintenance

See you next season!

Spring has arrived in Whistler, and after 79 days on snow, the 2025/2026 Lost Lake Nordic season has come to a close.

Thank you to our incredible staff, whose hard work and dedication kept the trails running all season long. And to our amazing community of skiers and snowshoers, your enthusiasm and support made this season one to remember.

Lost Lake Park has reopened to all public users — though trails are unmaintained and used at your own risk. Lost Lake Road and the parking lot remain closed as a work zone until further notice.

Watch for Early Bird pass deals this fall, and see you on the trails next season!
