Weyburn Fire Rescue What's new and what's happening with the Weyburn Firefighter’s Association Our department values, compassion, respect, and are committed to excellence.

Our mission is to provide fire and safety services for the citizens and surrounding area. These services range from the devastation of fire, environmental emergencies, natural and man made emergencies. This is on top of the regular fire services including prevention, education, suppression, and rescue services. A crew of 26 paid on call firefighters, and five career members operate out of one fire

hall in Weyburn. Our response area is 2500 square miles. The services we provide range from fire suppression, water/ice rescue, high-angle rescue, specialized vehicle extrication and industrial firefighting. Our goal is to continue to offer professional and dedicated services to the citizens of Weyburn and our entire response area.

Thank you to everyone who came out last night and supported our first Cabaret Fundraiser. The turnout and support from our community means so much to us, and we truly appreciate everyone who helped make the evening such a success.

Events like this help us continue our training, purchase equipment, and provide the supplies needed to keep serving our community. Your support allows us to continue growing, learning, and improving, and we are incredibly grateful for it.

A huge thank you to the food trucks that joined us for the evening — BeaverTails, Grub Shack, and Cochin Grillz. The food was amazing and enjoyed by so many throughout the night.

A special thank you as well to Moody Hollow Moody Hollow for providing great entertainment and music throughout the evening and helping create such a fun atmosphere for everyone who attended!

Thank you as well to the Family Place ladies for volunteering their time to help at the door and with ticket sales. Your help was greatly appreciated.

We would also like to recognize our members and committee who dedicated countless hours of planning, organizing, and hard work to make this event happen. A lot goes on behind the scenes, and it truly takes everyone coming together as a team to put on a successful event like this.

Lastly, a very special thank you to all of our sponsors and donors for their generous contributions to our silent auction. Your donations, support, and generosity played a huge role in the success of the night. We are incredibly thankful to have such supportive businesses, organizations, and community members behind us.
