May is Early Childhood Education Month!

This month, we take time to recognize the importance of Early Childhood Education and celebrate the incredible professionals who work year-round to support the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of our youngest citizens.

Saskatchewan is proud of its commitment to and investments in early childhood education opportunities across the province, in Kindergarten and Prekindergarten classrooms, KidsFirst Targeted, Mobile Early Learning, Early Childhood Intervention Programs, Early Years Family Resource Centres, child care centres and regulated child care homes. We extend a heartfelt thank you to the Early Childhood Educators who protect our children and prepare them for the future.

May is Mental Health Month.
LPES students will be attending our Self-Care Fair taking place May 6th and 8th where they will have the opportunity to engage with interactive stations to learn healthy coping strategies to regulate emotions and manage stress.
