The Atwater Library and Computer Centre is a private, non-profit community library, open to the public.

We offer a host of programming and services, including access to books and reference material, innovative digital literacy programs and computer courses, educational presentations and performances, clubs and meeting space for community groups.

Happy Labour Day!

THURSDAY, September 10 at 12:30 pm join us for a fascinating conversation about the two brilliant men who were instrumental in making “The Neuro” a world leader in neurological research and care.

Author Eric Andrew-Gee is discussing his book THE MIND MAPPERS with journalist Julian Sher.

The book is a dual biography of Dr. Wilder Penfield and Dr. William Cone and tells the story of the founding of the Montreal Neurological Institute.

It’s a hybrid event. Everyone is welcome. FREE admission.

ALICE SWITOCZ GOLDBLOOM is discussing her memoir with Rabbi Lisa Grushcow: FAMILY SECRETS: A Daughter's Search for Her Parents' Hidden War.

U.S. ABSENTEE VOTING is the subject of an information session at the Atwater Library THIS THURSDAY, August 27 from 12:30 to 1:30 pm.

An expert from the United States Consulate General Montreal will explain how people residing in Canada who are eligible to vote in the U.S. midterm elections can register and submit their ballot from Canada. With Q&A.
