Join us for FireSmart Family Day on Saturday, May 23 from 11 AM – 2 PM at Fire Hall 31 for a fun-filled afternoon of family activities, live demos, kids games, food, and hands-on ways to learn how to help keep your home and community FireSmart this season.

Come meet our firefighters, spray a fire hose, say hi to Sparky and Ember, and enjoy a great day with the community.

Today, members of IAFF Local 4457 gathered alongside fellow emergency service agencies, friends, and family to celebrate the life of former Paid On-Call firefighter Brad Fraser.

Brad was an integral part of our department and someone who left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. He was always a pleasure to be around, known for his positive attitude, quick smile, and willingness to help others.

Through his experience with the BC Ambulance Service, Brad brought a wealth of knowledge and valuable skills to the fire service, and he was always willing to share that knowledge with those around him. His dedication, professionalism, and friendship will never be forgotten.

Brad will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will continue to live on within our department and community.
