The ocean has always been part of life on Campobello. The waters of Passamaquoddy Bay and the Bay of Fundy shaped this island and the people who called it home.

For thousands of years, these waters have provided food, transportation, connection, and a way of life. Today, they continue to draw visitors from around the world, whether it's for the coastal views, the marine life, or simply a quiet moment by the shore.

On World Ocean Day, we're reminded just how fortunate we are to share this corner of the Bay of Fundy. Happy World Oceans Day!

On this day, 82 years ago, Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy in what President Roosevelt called "the mighty endeavour."

More than 156,000 soldiers crossed the English Channel that day, facing extraordinary danger.

Today, we remember the courage, sacrifice, and determination of those who served on D-Day and throughout the Second World War.

Lest we forget.

A few of the staff will be at the 2026 Rhubarb Festival in Perry, Maine, on Saturday, June 6th, to deliver a taste of Eleanor's Tea and FDR Happy Hour. Make sure to stop by and say hi. :)

Truck up for bids: 2007 GMC 1500. Starting bid is $1500.
Please call or visit the Park's office at 506-752-2922, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm(AT) to place bids, or ask any other questions. The truck can be seen in person at the Park's maintenance building.

Bids will close on Thursday, June 18th. The highest bidder will be notified shortly after that.
