🚌🚸 School Bus Safety Reminder 🚸🚌
With school back in session, we would like to remind everyone to please be mindful of our school buses and the space they need to safely pick up and drop off students.
Please do not park in the area where the buses turn in to the back alley to the school on Pipestone Avenue. We have some large buses that require extra room to safely make the turn, and parked vehicles can make it difficult or impossible for them to get through.
Keeping this area clear will help ensure our buses can safely access the school and, most importantly, help keep our students safe.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us keep our community safe for everyone heading back to school!

Back to School Time! ✏️🍎

Summer has flown by, and it’s time for a new school year! The Town of Wawota would like to wish all students, teachers, school staff, and families a safe, successful, and exciting year ahead.

To all the students heading back to the classroom whether it’s your first day of kindergarten or another step in your educational journey we hope your year is filled with learning, laughter, new friendships, and great memories!

A BIG THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING MAINTENANCE TEAM! 🌿
A beautiful community doesn’t happen by accident, and we are so fortunate to have people who take pride in keeping our Town looking its best!
A special thank you to our maintenance men, Shaun Galger and Jordan Black, along with our summer student, Cooper Wilson, for all their hard work throughout the summer making sure the business flower pots and pathway pots are watered and well cared for. 💦🌺
A huge thank you to Julia Harper for maintaining the beautiful flower beds and pots along the boulevard and at the park. Your hard work adds so much colour and beauty to our community!
And thank you to Gordon Van Desar for keeping the park hedge trimmed and looking its best. 🌳
A shout out to Agnes Hyde who faithfully keeps our transfer station open Wednesday and Saturdays.
Thank you all for everything you do to keep our community looking great! 🌸
