We want to make you aware of a situation brought to our attention in which an individual may be going door-to-door in Norfolk County Fire Department (NCFD) attire.

At this time, NCFD is not conducting any door-to-door campaigns for inspections or any other purposes. In addition, NCFD does not conduct any fundraising or donation campaigns through door-to-door visits.

Please use caution, and do not feel pressured to provide personal information or money to anyone claiming to represent NCFD.

Report it to the Norfolk County OPP non-emergency line at 519-426-3434.

From all the late nights, early mornings, missed holidays and birthdays, your service will forever be appreciated and remembered. ❤️

Waterford Lions Community Update

Great news — our Scrap Metal Bin is HERE NOW!

The Waterford Lions have once again teamed up with our amazing partners at the Waterford Fire Fighters and Quick Lane & L**e to bring this project back to the community.

The bin is now set up at Quick Lane & L**e in Waterford, and every piece of scrap metal donated helps raise funds that go directly back into our community — supporting local projects, events, and initiatives.

If you’ve got old metal, appliances, or scrap lying around, now’s the time to clean it up and drop it off!

If you knock on a fire station door in Norfolk it's not likely you'll find anyone there. Our firefighters have regular careers outside of the Fire Department, and only respond to the station when they receive a 911 callout. Many thanks to our local business owners who allow our firefighters to leave work for emergencies.

Just like the sidewalks in front of your home, fire hydrants need to be kept clear. You never know when they will be needed, and the time finding and accessing them in an emergency could mean life and death. Be a hero! Clear 1 metre around the hydrant in your area, whether it's on your yard or not.
