The Warman Off-Leash Dog Park will be closed this evening starting at 8:00pm for the fireworks that will follow the 2026 Warman High School Grad Parade. The fireworks will be blasted off in the parking lot (or barking lot....hah!) of the Dog Park by the Warman Fire Rescue Team.
You can watch the fireworks from the high school football field or anywhere in the area as long as you are not impeding traffic.

The 2026 Warman High School Grad Parade and Fireworks will be taking place tomorrow (Thursday) evening. The parade route is below and it starts at 7:30pm at the Warman High School football field.
On Central Street, please watch the parade from the north side of the street as there will still be regular vehicle traffic in the south lanes. On Centennial Boulevard, please watch the parade from the east side of the boulevard.
The fireworks at the football field begin at dark....because lighting them when it's still light would be a waste.

The City of Warman continued the presentation of our 2025 Volunteer Appreciation Awards with the presentation of the Group of the Year Award at Monday's Regular Meeting of Council.

This is awarded yearly to a club with three or more members, whose
efforts have significantly contributed to Warman’s quality of life through recreational sports, arts and culture, environmental leadership or community and social services. The major focus of this award involved volunteer efforts made during the 2025 calendar year.

Congratulations to the SJHL Warman Wolverines!

To the community of Warman, the Wolverines quickly became more than just a new SJHL hockey team playing in our city. The organization made a real effort to connect with the community and give back through hands-on volunteer work and community involvement.

Players and team members volunteered at several City of Warman and community events, including helping out at the KidSport Drive-Thru Breakfast and supporting the Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign. They’ve also been very visible in the community, doing school visits, meeting students, and encouraging young people to get involved in sports.

The Wolverines have also done a great job of connecting with local minor hockey by inviting teams to attend games, creating memorable experiences for young players and generally helping to build excitement around the game of hockey.

In their very first year in Warman, the Warman Wolverines have shown strong community spirit, a willingness to volunteer, and a genuine desire to be part of the community. Their efforts have made a meaningful contribution to Warman’s quality of life.

Congratulations to the Warman Wolverines organization, its players and its team of volunteers on being deserving recipients of the 2025 Group of the Year award.

Accepting the award are players Trey Marcus and Carter Bergen, and General Manager and Head Coach Brett Pilkington.
