🌟 Celebrating Excellence at St. Pat’s! 💚💛
Earlier today, Grade 12 standout Taryn Stoukas was honoured as one of two student athletes receiving the 2026 Stefanko Award — a recognition of leadership, character, and outstanding commitment to sport.

Taryn has been a powerhouse on the court as a leader with the St. Pat’s Sr. Girls Basketball team, inspiring teammates with her work ethic, humility, and heart.

As she prepares to head to Waterloo next year to join the Wilfrid Laurier Golden Hawks, she’s leaving our community with a few words of wisdom for young athletes just beginning their high school journey…

Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓

This past Saturday, St. Patrick’s Catholic High School in Sarnia proudly celebrated 323 graduates as they crossed the stage and marked an incredible milestone.

We are so proud of each and every one of these students. Their hard work, perseverance, and spirit have brought them to this moment. As they begin their next chapters in university, college, the skilled trades, and beyond, we wish them every success and God’s blessing on the journey ahead.

Wherever your path leads, carry your faith, your values, and your St. Patrick’s pride with you.

🎒👏 Grade 7 Students Make a Big Impact with Tools for Schools!

Grade 7 students at St. John Fisher Catholic School put leadership and compassion into action through their ENACTUS project, Tools for Schools, collecting an incredible 850 school supply items for local youth in need.

Through a school-wide collection and friendly class competition, students and staff donated backpacks, lunch bags, pencils, crayons, markers, glue, and more to help children start the school year ready to learn.

The students also presented their project at Lambton College and partnered with Noelle’s Gift to help ensure the supplies reached families who needed them most.
Congratulations to these young leaders for showing how teamwork, kindness, and community spirit can make a meaningful difference!

Due to a heat warning and temperatures expected to feel up to 40 C on Thursday, we have made the difficult decision to once again postpone the track and field meet at St. Patrick’s Catholic High School.

We understand that many members of our school community make accommodations to attend this event and apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. The decision was made out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the safety of our student athletes, staff and volunteers.

The meet has been rescheduled to Tuesday, June 16.

We appreciate your understanding and commitment to keeping our school communities safe.

🏃‍♀️🏅 Student Athletes Shine at UCC Track & Field Meet!

On June 3 more than 500 students from Grades 3–8 came together at Ursuline College Chatham for a day of competition, connection, and school spirit at the annual KCSAC meet.

While athletes gave it their all on the track and field, the true highlight was the friendships formed and memories made across schools. 💙

👏 Four records were broken, including an incredible double record in shot put by Brynlie Myslik (St. Michael’s, Ridgetown)!

From personal bests to powerful encouragement from teachers and peers, the day was a celebration of effort, perseverance, and community.

Celebrating Community, Diversity and Care This June

Throughout June, St. Clair Catholic is celebrating the gifts, cultures and contributions that make our communities strong.

We begin with Ontario Day on June 1, honouring the diversity and accomplishments that shape our province. Later in the month, on June 21, we mark National Indigenous Peoples Day, celebrating the rich heritage of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.

Starting June 2, the rainbow flag will fly at every school and at the Catholic Education Centre — a visible sign of our welcoming, inclusive communities and our commitment to accompany and care for all.

Rooted in our Catholic faith and supported through our approved religion programs, we continue to teach dignity, compassion and respect, working together to end bullying and discrimination.

At St. Clair Catholic, every student is welcomed, valued and respected — as we believe in each other, achieve together and accompany everyone with care.
