Walkerton Firefighters Association Hear about WFA events, fundraising initiatives, and what we're up to in the community! The WFA consists of members of the Walkerton Fire Department.

Our current fundraising initiative is to purchase slope rescue equipment. In the past we have contributed to Camp Bucko, Saugeen Safety Village, Muscular Dystrophy, sponsored skating at the Walkerton Arena etc. Our Touch A Truck/Firefighters Breakfast is the 2nd Saturday in June. This fall we hosted our 2nd Halloween Dance which was a great success. You will see us at events such as The Buskers Fe

stival, Parades, and other community events. Our meetings are bi-monthly. Be sure to also check out the WFD FB page with messages about safety, prevention, training and department initiatives.

Yesterday during our breakfast we took a moment to recognize Melissa Ann on her retirement after 11 years of service with the Walkerton Fire Department serving the Municipality of Brockton and as a member of the Walkerton Firefighters Association. We thank you for your service and look forward to still working with you on calls for service with Bruce Paramedic Services.
