🎄THE GIVING TREE🎄
As many of you know, we lost our daughter Azalea Frankie Rhys in June 2018. She was the light of our lives and such a bright, beautiful, caring little girl.
When she passed away, we went through serious trauma. Our only saving grace and the only gentle, helpful souls to come to our aid were the wonderful nurses and doctors at Rosthern Hospital. They have since even started a closet in her name to help provide patients or their family members that show up under-equipped for their stay. It is called 'Frankie's Closet.'
Since then, we have been thinking of ways to give back to the Rosthern Hospital, and help spread a little joy in Frankie's name. We are planning to donate a NEW box of Usborne books and games to the hospital to help other children and families that end up needing care from these amazing individuals - and might not have come prepared to entertain or provide distraction.
This month, I am doing a Virtual Giving Tree. 🎄 By purchasing an ornament from the tree, you will be providing a book or activity to a sick child .... helping make their hospital visit a little less scary. And of course, a book can take you to all sorts of places that will definitely help make this easier.
👉I will also be donating myself by using my commission to cover the costs of tax and shipping as well as by purchasing some small gifts to add in as well.
🥳 There is no specific goal - just to donate as much as we humanly can!
I am just one person - but I know that we can do big things when we all come together in the spirit of giving
