🚧 Street Sweeping Notice – Residents on Paved Streets 🚧

Street sweeping is scheduled to begin tomorrow morning, Thursday, June 11, with crews arriving as early as 6:30 AM.

To help ensure an effective cleaning of our streets, please remove all vehicles, trailers, and other obstacles from paved roadways before 6:30 AM.

🌧️ Weather Dependent: If rain continues overnight or into the morning, street sweeping will be postponed to Friday or early next week.

We apologize for the short notice and appreciate your cooperation in helping keep our community clean.

♻️ Recycling Cart Reminder ♻️

Recycling carts were delivered on Friday. Thank you to all residents who have already placed their carts on their property.

If your recycling cart is still located on municipal property, you have until Friday to move it onto your property. After Friday, Village staff will relocate any remaining carts, and the applicable fine will be charged to the property owner as follows:

• First Offence – $50.00
• Second Offence – $100.00
• Third Offence – $150.00

We appreciate everyone's cooperation as we transition to the new recycling program. Thank you for helping keep our community organized and safe.

♻️ Update: Automated Curbside Recycling Begins in Viscount! ♻️
Recycling cart delivery is scheduled for June 4 & 5, with the first curbside recycling pickup on June 15. 🚛
Residents will receive two recycling brochures with their carts:
📘 Current MMSW recycling guidelines (to be followed from June–August)
📗 New SK Recycles guidelines (effective September 1)
🗓️ An updated waste and recycling calendar is also included.
🚮 Reminder: The next waste collection day is Monday, June 8. Please have your waste cart at the curb by 7:00 a.m. to ensure collection.
REACT will continue to share updates and information throughout the transition to help make the change as smooth as possible for everyone.

No carts, no collection (yet)! 🚫♻️ Our Automated Curbside Recycle Cart rollout is still in progress, so some areas are still waiting for their carts to arrive. Once deliveries are complete, regular collection will get rolling right away!

We appreciate everyone’s patience while we finish getting carts out to all residents, we’re almost there! 🛒🚛💚

♻️ Reminder: There will be another Waste Cart Collection on Monday, May 25th!

Please have your carts out by 7:00 a.m. ⏰ to avoid being missed.

📬 Moving forward, residents will follow the new waste & recycling collection schedule. Updated schedules will be mailed out with the next utility notices.
