2026 Municipal Election – Prospective Candidates

The R.M. of Wallace-Woodworth is providing an update on individuals who have registered as prospective candidates for the 2026 Municipal Election. The attached list reflects registration forms received as of September 11, 2026.

Please note that registering as a prospective candidate does not mean an individual is officially a candidate for election. Registration allows an individual to begin campaign-related activities, including accepting contributions, in accordance with election requirements.

The nomination period is September 16–22, 2026. Nomination papers must be submitted to and accepted by the Senior Elections Official (SEO) before an individual becomes a nominated candidate. Submission of nomination papers alone does not confirm candidacy.

The withdrawal period closes September 23, 2026, after which the official list of candidates will be confirmed.

Anyone interested in registering as a prospective candidate is encouraged to contact the Senior Elections Official or the Municipal Office prior to September 22, 2026.
