IUD insertion pain is real, significant, and preventable. Yet many patients are offered little to no pain relief, and the quality of care depends far too often on individual provider training or geographic location.

Our message is clear: Not just a pinch: Pain relief is not a luxury, it’s a right! Tell your MLA today!

Universal no-cost prescription contraception is a revenue positive policy.

Unfortunately, Zero Pharmacare agreements have been signed since took office. With the first phase of the national Pharmacare plan (Bill C-64) promising free prescription contraception and diabetes medication and supplies, this policy could be transformative.

A Canadian's ability to access life-saving and life-changing medicine should not depend on their incomes and their postal codes, but this is the unfortunate reality in the face of inaction by the Carney government.

We need leadership on Pharmacare. We need a federal government that is actively negotiating agreements with outstanding jurisdictions, and is committed to not only funding these agreements moving forward, but actively working to expand pharmacare beyond free diabetes medication and supplies and prescription contraception.

Any time someone brings up concerns around population, immigration, or birth rates in an adult conversation about increasing access to prescription contraception, it is a massive red flag 🚩

Well, I guess you got yours, but you live in a society with other people friend.

Zero Pharmacare agreements have been signed since took office. With the first phase of the national Pharmacare plan (Bill C-64) promising free prescription contraception and diabetes medication and supplies, this policy could be transformative.

Unfortunately, the Carney government has flip flopped on whether or not they will pursue additional agreements, and has indicated that they may allow the program to end when current funding expires in 2029.

This is absolutely unacceptable and a betrayal of Canadians, who were promised a national plan. Instead, Canadian's ability to access life-saving and life-changing medicine now depends on their incomes and their postal codes.

We need actual leadership on Pharmacare. We need a federal government that is actively negotiating agreements with outstanding jurisdictions, and is committed to not only funding these agreements moving forward, but actively working to expand pharmacare beyond free diabetes medication and supplies and prescription contraception.

Here's why we chose advocacy over service provision. It's kinda obvious if you think about it for more than a second 😁
