As a poodle family, we found ourselves bumping into another poodle. At the ferry terminal in Powell River, we, of course, stopped to talk to another poodle and its owners. Chili met Copper. Turns out they’re from the same breeder! Could they possibly be brothers? Perhaps!

Labour Day is a chance to recognize the people whose hard work, dedication, and contributions help our communities thrive.

At Carter Notary, we’re proud to be part of a community filled with local businesses, organizations, and individuals who show up every day to serve, create, build, and make a difference.

As a reminder, government offices, banks, post offices, and many retail stores are closed for the day. Including Carter Notary! We will resume regular office hours Tuesday, September 8.

It was a wonderful night attending the Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce Business Awards. I enjoyed attending as a representative not only of Carter Notary but also of Think Local First, as its President. It was great to be in a room with so many local businesses represented.
