GVHS staff were excited to visit the site of our new offices! That's right, GVHS Head Office will soon move to the ground floor of our new building at 856 Nigel Avenue.

In addition, the building will feature 70 affordable rental units, in the heart of Uptown.

We are busy packing up our desks and gearing up for the move! See you soon.

Retrofit work is underway at Tillicum Terrace.

Located in the Tillicum neighbourhood Saanich, Tillicum Terrace is a 4-story subsidized townhouse/apartment building. It features 24 2-bedroom 2 level townhouses for families and 28 1- bedroom and 1 -2-bedroom units for 55+ and persons with disabilities located on the 2 floors above the townhouses. Townhouses have patios and apartments have balconies.

Phase One of the building retrofit project includes the replacement of all exterior doors and windows, as well as the renewal of the building’s exterior cladding and envelope. This phase will also involve the replacement of balcony decks and guardrails, improving the building’s overall durability, energy efficiency, safety, and appearance.

Our new building, Nigel Corners, is coming soon! This fall, our first residents will move into this 70-unit building, featuring a mix of studios, 1, 2, 3, and 4-bedroom units in the heart of Uptown.
