Fire Suppression Technician
Established in 1998, 4 Seasons Fire Prevention Services Ltd is a recognized leader in the Fire Protection Industry servicing state of the art Fire Alarms, Fire Sprinklers, Fire Suppression Systems and related fire and life safety equipment. We are one of Vancouver Islands largest Full-Service Fire Protection Services provider.
Major Duties and responsibilities:
• Perform service activities on existing Fire Suppression Systems of all manufacturers
• Trouble shoot systems and perform necessary repairs
• Perform code compliant inspections of Fire Suppression Systems
• Perform all duties related to inspections, maintenance, repairs, design and installation
• Reliably and efficiently lead projects and work well in a true team environment
• Detailed report writing covering inspection report, associated deficiency solution quotes, material and labour invoicing, as well as communication within the team
• Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing quality inspections.
• Provide specific solutions and recommendations to our valued clients
• Handle emergency service calls with priority, efficiency and tact

Qualifications and Job Requirements:
• Experience as a Fire Suppression Technician within the Fire Protection industry.
• Completion of Factory Training and on the job training
• Knowledgeable of manufacturer, provincial building & fire codes for inspection purposes
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and routine details
• Ability to present information through the spoken or written form, interpret complex information
• Ability to lift equipment and tools
• Possess a valid Class 5 motor vehicle license

• Possible option of 4- or 5-Day Work Week (Full Time)
• Market Leading Wages ($30 - $40+/hr pending experience)

4SFPS sent 2 of our valued team members to the 2025 BCSPCA "Offleashed Gala Victoria" at the Fairmont Empress.
By attending Offleashed, we help to change animals’ lives. A ticket to Offleashed directly supports the BC SPCA Victoria’s work saving animals. Included with this Gala event was access to the Cuddle Lounge with BC SPCA animal ambassadors, beverages, a 3-course dinner, special insight into the BC SPCA’s work from the experts themselves, plus a room full of people who love animals.
