Transcribimus: documents of early Vancouver and beyond A group of volunteers making the historical documents of early Vancouver available online free of charge. A project of the Global Civic Policy Society.

TRANSCIBIMUS IS LATIN FOR "WE TRANSCRIBE"
We support a network of volunteers who work to make historical documents available free of charge for online access by researchers and the general public. We have transcribed more than 275 sets of Vancouver City Council minutes (almost 3,000 pages) from the first meeting in May of 1886 to the end of 1891.
