City of Vancouver Archives The City Archives houses over 8 km of documents about the history of Vancouver, containing both government and public collections.

The City of Vancouver Archives, a division of the City Clerk's Department, acquires, organizes and preserves Vancouver's historical records and makes them available to the widest possible audience. The Archives is the official repository for City of Vancouver government records and actively acquires the records documenting the social, political, economic, cultural and community life of Vancouver from local non-government organizations, businesses and individuals.
