RCP CONGRESS 2026

The weekend was full of ideas and enthusiasm. We met comrades from all over the county and shared lessons from the work. We were inspired by how much the party has grown in the last period.

The task ahead of us is a big one but it is clearer than ever that with the right ideas and vigour, we can face it head on! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

The Epstein files is perhaps the greatest political scandal of our time. Not only has it shown the darkest depravities of our ruling class, it has also exposed the lengths the ruling class will go to to protect their own regardless of race, gender or nationality.

The media wants to paint the Epstein files as a misfortune caused by a handful of singlularly evil minded individuals, when the reality is, under capitalism it is inevitable that these are the people in power. Nobody sits above them, nobody has more wealth or decision making power than them. It is their system. This has also shown the failures of the justice system and how when push comes to shove, there is no one that will truly stand for the working class but ourselves.

On March 26th, join the RCP for presentation and discussion on the Epstein files, how capitalism encourages and protects those and power and how we can overthrow the Epstein class.

Did you know that International Women's Day was originally called International Working Women's day? This intentional separation of women's liberation from its socialist origins and class struggle methods has unfortunately become the norm in the fight for women's liberation. In a post-Epstein files world, choice-feminism and corporatized "girl power" have failed to address the core issue of women's oppression, which is capitalism.

This March 8th, the Vancouver RCP will be presenting a public event on how to fight women's oppression. Join us as we discuss the origins of women's oppression and present the Communist solution for women's emancipation.

This past weekend 25 Vancouver comrades attended the 16th annual Montreal Marxist Winter School! Comrades attended discussions on the most pertinent issues facing the class struggle today, including the crisis of the reformism, the need for leadership, and the importance of revolutionary theory. The mood over the weekend was electric! As capitalism falls deeper into crisis, this was the perfect opportunity for comrades, arming themselves with the ideas of Marx, Lenin, Engels, and Trotsky, to draw on the lessons of the past to build the revolutionary party of the future!

By invading Venezuela, kidnapping Maduro, and forcing the country to sell its oil to the US, American imperialism is staking its claim in Latin America as its backyard. While the “rules-based” international order was always a cover for imperialism, that facade has now completely fallen. Join the RCP on February 2nd for a discussion on why the US is doing this now, what this means for Venezuela, and how we can end imperialism not just in the this hemisphere, but across the world.
