We are delighted to announce the appointment of Jennifer Lyle as our next Chief Executive Officer, effective July 20, 2026. Jennifer will succeed Liz Lougheed Green, who will step down as CEO on July 31, following a planned leadership transition.
Jennifer joins ANHBC from the Alzheimer Society of BC and Yukon, where she has served as CEO since 2021. She brings extensive leadership experience across the non-profit, health, and community care sectors. A people-centred, transformational leader, Jennifer has deep experience working alongside community members to effect change.
She believes strongly in the values, vision, and mission of ANHBC. Her approach focuses on working alongside teams and partners to align on collective impact, translating shared vision into clear priorities, and deepening organizational resilience.

We will all miss Liz Lougheed Green, who led ANHBC through a period of significant stabilization, transformation and growth. She has remained in her role to support a thoughtful and complete transition, including a brief overlap period with Jennifer.
During her tenure, Liz guided a community-driven Strategic Transformation process centred on relationships, dialogue, and a shared commitment to Land, People and Place—helping to establish a strong foundation for ANHBC as a living and evolving organization.
The Board recognizes that this leadership transition comes at a time when many organizations across the sector are navigating funding pressures and increasing demand. However, it remains confident in ANHBC's ability to continue building healthy and engaged neighbourhoods by connecting people and strengthening our collective capacity to create change.
Help us in expressing gratitude to Liz and by welcoming Jennifer to ANHBC on July 20!
