I am heartbroken about the loss of Amshen Joan Phillip- a fearless First Nations warrior, matriarch and compassionate advocate, committed to human rights, social & environmental justice Joan Phillip （Amshen） 彤菲麗 -MLA Vancouver -Strathcona. Seems like yesterday we were en route to BC Women’s to welcome her into this world. She is the sparkle and in mine and James’ lives. She is our Jada❤️ our princess. I haven’t donated blood in a while but after a recent visit to the ER witnessing a family member in need of a blood transfusion (3 units of blood) - I just had to make the time.
