เมื่อวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้ร่วมกล่าวเปิดกิจกรรมการฉายภาพยนตร์ของคุณเป็นเอก รัตนเรือง ผู้กำกับภาพยนตร์ชื่อดัง ซึ่งได้เดินทางเยือนนครแวนคูเวอร์เพื่อเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมดังกล่าว จัดโดยมหาวิทยาลัยบริติชโคลัมเบียและโรงภาพยนตร์ The Cinematheque โดยการสนับสนุนจากสถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ โดยมีภาพยนตร์เรื่องรักน้อยนิดมหาศาล ครัวสาว และพลอย จัดฉายระหว่างวันที่ 8-9 กันยายน 2569

ในห้วงพิธีเปิด มีผู้สนใจเข้าร่วมกว่า 150 คน รวมถึงนางสาว Anne Kang, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport นาย Paul Choi, Parliamentary Secretary for Trade to the Minister of Jobs and Economic Growth คณะกงสุลใหญ่ต่างประเทศประจำนครแวนคูเวอร์ และบุคคลทั่วไป โดยสถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้นำอาหารและเครื่องดื่มของไทยที่หารับประทานได้ยากในต่างประเทศมาเผยแพร่ภายในงานด้วย

สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ขอขอบคุณ The Cinematheque และ University of British Columbia สำหรับการจัดงานดังกล่าว ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมการเฉลิมฉลองการครบรอบ 65 ปี การสถาปนาความสัมพันธ์ไทย-แคนาดา ในปี 2569 นี้

On 8 September 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul-General of Thailand in Vancouver, delivered opening remarks at the film screening event featuring renowned Thai film director Pen-Ek Ratanaruang, who visited Vancouver to participate in the program. The screenings—Last Life in the Universe, Morte Cucina and Ploy—were organized by the University of British Columbia and The Cinematheque, with support from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver, and held from 8–9 September 2026.

The opening ceremony was attended by more than 150 guests, including the Honourable Anne Kang, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, the Honourable Paul Choi, Parliamentary Secretary for Trade to the Minister of Jobs and Economic Growth, members of the Consular Corps and the general public. The Consulate also showcased Thai cuisine that are rarely found abroad for guests to enjoy during the event.

The Consulate wishes to express its appreciation to The Cinematheque and the University of British Columbia for organising this event as part of the celebrations marking the 65th anniversary of Thailand–Canada diplomatic relations in 2026.

เมื่อวันที่ 2 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ และเจ้าหน้าที่สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้ดำเนินโครงการกงสุลสัญจร ครั้งที่ 4/2569 ณ นครวิกตอเรีย เพื่อให้บริการรับคำร้องหนังสือเดินทาง และให้ข้อมูล/คำแนะนำด้านงานกงสุลต่าง ๆ แก่ชาวไทยที่อยู่บนเกาะ Vancouver Island โดยกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้พบปะพูดคุยกับคนไทยที่เข้ารับบริการอย่างใกล้ชิดและเป็นกันเอง ซึ่งนอกจากจะช่วยกระชับความสัมพันธ์กับชุมชนไทยแล้ว สถานกงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยังได้ทราบข้อมูลที่เป็นปัจจุบันเกี่ยวกับสภาพความเป็นอยู่และประเด็นต่าง ๆ ที่คนไทยในพื้นที่ต้องการขอรับข้อมูล/ความช่วยเหลือด้วย

เมื่อวันที่ 3 กันยายน 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุมหารือออนไลน์ระหว่าง Dr. Andrea Frommel, Assistant Professor and Chair in Sustainable Aquaculture มหาวิทยาลัยบริติชโคลัมเบีย (UBC) และคณะนักวิจัยจากศูนย์พันธุวิศวกรรมและเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพแห่งชาติ (ไบโอเทค) สำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ (สวทช.) นำโดย ดร. กัลยาณ์ แดงติ๊บ ผู้อำนวยการกลุ่มวิจัยเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพสัตว์น้ำแบบบูรณาการ เพื่อหารือแนวทางความร่วมมือในการแลกเปลี่ยนนักวิจัยไทย–แคนาดา และการทำงานวิจัยร่วมด้านนวัตกรรมสัตว์น้ำอย่างยั่งยืน เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพการผลิต

กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้ย้ำถึงนโยบายการทูตวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรมของไทยในการแสวงหาความร่วมมือกับหุ้นส่วนระหว่างประเทศ เพื่อเสริมสร้างระบบนิเวศนวัตกรรมของไทย สร้างความพร้อมและพัฒนาทุนมนุษย์ในระยะยาว ตลอดจนเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม โดยเทคโนโลยีชีวภาพเป็นหนึ่งในสาขาที่ไทยให้ความสำคัญ

สถานกงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ยินดีประสานงานและสนับสนุนความร่วมมือระหว่าง UBC และไบโอเทค สวทช. เพื่อให้การดำเนินโครงการเป็นไปอย่างราบรื่นและสัมฤทธิ์ผล

On 3 September 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul General of Thailand in Vancouver, participated in an online meeting between Dr. Andrea Frommel, Assistant Professor and Chair in Sustainable Aquaculture at the University of British Columbia (UBC), and a team of researchers from the National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), led by Dr. Kallaya Dangtip, Director of the Integrative Aquaculture Biotechnology Research Group. The meeting discussed potential collaboration on Thai-Canadian researcher exchanges and joint research on sustainable aquaculture innovations aimed at improving production efficiency.

The Consul General highlighted Thailand’s science, research and innovation diplomacy policy, which seeks to strengthen international partnerships and Thailand’s innovation ecosystem, develop human capital in the long term, and enhance economic and social capabilities. Biotechnology is among the areas of priority for Thailand.

The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Vancouver expressed its readiness to facilitate and support collaboration between UBC and BIOTEC to ensure the smooth and successful implementation of future joint research initiatives.

เมื่อวันที่ 28 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้พบหารือกับนาย Paul Choi สมาชิกสภานิติบัญญัติและเลขาธิการสภานิติบัญญัติด้านการค้ารัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย เพื่อส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย–รัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย ในโอกาสครบรอบ 65 ปี ความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย–แคนาดา โดยได้แลกเปลี่ยนข้อคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับการส่งเสริมความร่วมมือด้านเศรษฐกิจ การค้า และการลงทุนระหว่างกัน

On 28 August 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul- General of Thailand in Vancouver, met with Mr. Paul Choi, Parliamentary Secretary for Trade and Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, to promote Thailand–British Columbia relations on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Canada. They exchanged views on strengthening economic, trade, and investment cooperation between Thailand and British Columbia.

The Consul-General highlighted Thailand’s interest in advancing the Thailand–Canada FTA negotiations. She also emphasized British Columbia’s potential as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region and Thailand’s role as a gateway to ASEAN, while highlighting the priority areas of cooperation include digital technology and AI, clean energy, biotechnology, and advanced manufacturing.

Mr. Choi stated that British Columbia is ready to support and facilitate Thai businesses interested in investing in the province, particularly in agriculture and clean energy. On this occasion, the Consul- General thanked the Province of British Columbia for its focus on the Asia-Pacific region and Canadian businesses for sending their representatives to attend Techsauce Global Summit 2026, held from 26–28 August 2026 in Bangkok.

เมื่อวันที่ 25 สิงหาคม 2569 นางสาวณัฐนิภา บุรุษพัฒน์ กงสุลใหญ่ ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ ได้เข้าเยี่ยมคารวะนางสาว Anne Kang รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการท่องเที่ยว ศิลปะ วัฒนธรรม และกีฬาแห่งรัฐบริติชโคลัมเบีย เพื่อหารือแนวทางส่งเสริมความสัมพันธ์ไทย–บริติชโคลัมเบีย ในโอกาสครบรอบ 65 ปีความสัมพันธ์ทางการทูตไทย–แคนาดา โดยได้แลกเปลี่ยนความเห็นด้านการท่องเที่ยว ความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างประชาชน ตลอดจนความสำคัญของเที่ยวบินตรงแวนคูเวอร์–กรุงเทพฯ ในการส่งเสริมการท่องเที่ยว ธุรกิจ และการศึกษา รวมถึงผลตอบรับที่ดีจากงาน Amazing Thailand Roadshow 2026 ซึ่งการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทยได้จัดขึ้น ณ นครแวนคูเวอร์ เมื่อเดือนเมษายน 2569

กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ยังได้กล่าวถึง การเสนอชุดไทยขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นมรดกวัฒนธรรมที่จับต้องไม่ได้ของ UNESCO ในปี 2569 การเผยแพร่นาฏศิลป์ ศิลปะร่วมสมัย ภาพยนตร์ไทย และมวยไทย ตลอดจนความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษาระหว่างไทย–แคนาดา และโอกาสในการพัฒนาความร่วมมือด้านเทคโนโลยีดิจิทัลและ AI นวัตกรรมการเกษตร การผลิตขั้นสูง เทคโนโลยีชีวภาพ เทคโนโลยีสะอาด ความยั่งยืน และเทคโนโลยีควอนตัม

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว กงสุลใหญ่ฯ ได้เชิญรัฐมนตรี Anne Kang เข้าร่วมงานเทศกาลไทยปี 2570 และรัฐมนตรีฯ ได้ตอบรับคำเชิญเข้าร่วมงานเลี้ยงรับรองและการฉายภาพยนตร์ไทยโดยผู้กำกับเป็นเอก รัตนเรือง ในวันที่ 8 กันยายน 2569 ณ The Cinematheque นครแวนคูเวอร์ การพบหารือครั้งนี้เป็นโอกาสอันดีในการกระชับความสัมพันธ์และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างไทยกับรัฐบริติชโคลัมเบียให้ใกล้ชิดยิ่งขึ้น

On 25 August 2026, Ms. Nattanipa Burusapat, Consul General of Thailand in Vancouver, paid a courtesy call on The Hon. Anne Kang, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport of British Columbia, to discuss ways to further strengthen Thailand–British Columbia relations, on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of Thailand–Canada diplomatic relations. Discussions covered tourism and people-to-people connectivity, as well as the importance of direct Vancouver–Bangkok air connectivity in promoting tourism, business and educational exchanges. The Consul General also highlighted the positive response to the Amazing Thailand Roadshow 2026, organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand in Vancouver in April 2026.

The Consul General informed that Thailand has proposed "Chud Thai" (Thai traditional dress) for inscription as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2026, as well as the promotion of Thai dance, contemporary art, Thai cinema and Muay Thai. She also highlighted Thailand–Canada educational cooperation and opportunities to further develop collaboration in digital technology and AI, agri-innovation, advanced manufacturing, biotechnology, clean technology, sustainability and quantum technologies.

On this occasion, the Consul General invited Minister Kang to attend Thai Festival 2027, and the Minister accepted the invitation to attend a reception and Thai film screening by renowned Thai director Pen-ek Ratanaruang on 8 September 2026 at The Cinematheque, Vancouver. The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen the close relationship and cooperation between Thailand and British Columbia.
