The program focuses on the challenges and barriers faced by parents supporting tweens navigating school life, peers, social media, and building confidence and positive communication. Registration is required. Preference given to permanent residents.

What an inspiring Indigenous West-Coast Art Class with our Summer Camp Kids!🌞🎨

The art session began with a Land Acknowledgement explanation and drumming of the Sandpiper Song by Chris, our Indigenous Community Programmer.

"I was drumming away and a few of the kids started banging on their tables at the beat of the drum. It was a very inspiring moment" 🥁

We thank the children for engaging in learning about Indigenous art, and Chris for passing on the wisdom of Indigenous practices & intertwining his teachings in our everyday lives.

🌎✨ A day of discovery and connection!

Migrant workers and their families enjoyed an exciting visit to Science World, followed by a picnic at Creekside Park. From exploring interactive exhibits to sharing stories and experiences together, it was a day filled with learning, laughter, and community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this outing so memorable. 💙
