A-10 Warthog — Built for the Battlefield 🐗✈️

The A-10 Thunderbolt II, better known as the Warthog, was designed for one purpose: providing powerful close air support to forces on the ground.

With its rugged design, excellent low-speed handling, titanium armor around the cockpit, and the legendary GAU-8/A 30mm cannon, the A-10 became one of the most recognizable attack aircraft ever built.

It may be an older aircraft, but its durability and ability to operate at low altitude have kept it relevant for decades.

War is never something to celebrate—but if nations must defend themselves, aircraft like the A-10 demonstrate the importance of preparedness, engineering, and protecting those on the ground. Hopefully, humanity continues moving toward a future where these incredible machines are remembered more for their technology than for the wars they fought.

A fully loaded B-52 can take on tens of thousands of pounds of fuel during a single aerial refueling, allowing it to stay airborne for many more hours without landing. Under ideal conditions, a refueling can be completed in as little as 20–40 minutes, depending on how much fuel is needed.

⛽ A typical refueling takes 15–30 minutes, depending on how much fuel is transferred and weather conditions. The KC-135 can transfer fuel at rates of up to about 6,500 pounds (around 2,950 kg) per minute, making it one of the fastest aerial refueling systems in service.

💰 Operating a B-52 costs roughly US$88,000–95,000 per flight hour, while a KC-135 costs around US$25,000–30,000 per flight hour. A single refueling mission involving both aircraft can therefore cost tens of thousands of dollars, often exceeding US$40,000–60,000 depending on mission duration and fuel offloaded.

This flying fuel station is one of the key reasons the B-52 remains a global strategic bomber more than 70 years after its first flight.

The F-16 Fighting Falcon remains one of the most successful multirole fighter jets ever built. Although the U.S. Air Force has been replacing some F-16s with the F-35, it still operates around 790 F-16s in active service, making it one of the backbone fighters of the USAF.

First introduced in 1978, the F-16 is capable of air-to-air combat, precision ground strikes, and suppression of enemy air defenses. With a top speed of Mach 2 (2,400+ km/h) and decades of combat experience, it continues to serve alongside newer aircraft thanks to ongoing upgrades.
