🚨TONIGHT’S FIREWORKS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED🚨

Due to a completely unforeseen, last-minute circumstance, the Town does not have the full crew required to safely conduct tonight’s fireworks display.

Safety is always the Town’s highest priority, for the volunteers conducting the display AND for the residents attending it. Without the full required crew, proceeding is not an option.

We know how many people were looking forward to the show, and we are deeply disappointed too.

All Fall Fest activities scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. are still going ahead at the Polar Palace Arena Grounds, including:

🌽 600 ears of corn and 600 hot dogs
🚘 Highway 43 Cruisers Show ’N Shine
🎶 Live music by Pontiac Moon
🪓 Axe throwing
🏎️ Soapbox Derby
💪 Tug of war
🪚 Partner log saw

There is still a fantastic evening of food, music, friendly competition and community ahead. We hope to see you at Fall Fest! 🍁

Today is the day, Valleyview! 🍂🎉

Fall Fest is officially here! Head down to the Polar Palace Arena Grounds tonight from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an epic evening of community fun, live music, and our massive 600 hot dog and corn cookout.

The Evening Lineup

5:00 PM: Show 'N Shine & Dinner
6:00 PM: Axe Throwing & Soapbox Derby
7:00 PM: Tug of War
7:30 PM: Partner Log Saw
10:00 PM: Fireworks

Please review the attached map for the 10:00 PM fireworks show on the hill behind the Police Station:

There is strictly NO PARKING permitted along Highway 49.
A section of Township Road 703 will be barricaded to traffic to maintain a safe perimeter.

Here are the details to ensure a safe and spectacular evening at the Fall Fest Fireworks:

📍 Where: The hill behind the Police Station (4805 E Highway St)
⏰ When: 10:00 PM Tomorrow (September 11, 2026)!

⚠️ Important Safety & Parking Information:

No Parking: There is strictly NO PARKING permitted along Highway 49.

Road Closures: A section of Township Road 703 will be temporarily blocked off to all traffic to maintain a safe perimeter.

Please respect the barricades and let's cap off Fall Fest with an incredible show! Watch our page tomorrow for a detailed parking and road closure map.

If you love our local library and want to help shape its future, this is your chance. Serving on the board is an excellent way to give back to the community without an overwhelming time commitment, the board only meets once a month.

Help us guide the library programs, services, and initiatives that benefit everyone in Valleyview.

That is right, Valleyview! We are firing up the grills this Friday, September 11, and prepping a massive 600 hot dogs and 600 ears of corn for the ultimate Fall Fest feast at the Polar Palace Arena Grounds. Bring your biggest appetite because dinner is served from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and you are going to need the energy for everything else we have packed into this evening!

The Epic Evening Lineup:

5:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Show 'N Shine (Vote for People's, Competitor's & Kid's Choice!)

It is hard to believe, but the sun is setting on our summer weather. Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 9, will officially be the last day of the season for the Valleyview Splash Park.

Come on down and get your final splashes in today and tomorrow before we turn off the taps for the year!

We are still taking registrations for our Fall Fest Pop-Up Market happening this Friday, September 11th! This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your goods and connect with the community during a fun evening out.

⚠️ Vendor Setup Note: The Town will provide your designated space, but please remember to bring your own tables, chairs, and tents/canopies for your setup.

Today we celebrate the hardworking individuals across all industries who keep our community thriving.

Please note that all Town of Valleyview departments are closed today, Monday, September 7, for the statutory holiday. We look forward to serving you when regular office hours resume tomorrow, Tuesday, September 8.
