Have you ever wanted to hand out candy when it wasn't Hallowe'en? 🍭
Have you ever thought, "I wish there was a day I could dress up as an Under-water Adventurer and walk down the street with friends"? 🥽🐬
Have you ever had a desire to transform a trailer into a fabulous parade float?

Great news! The library and V Crew Valemount Youth Network are partnering for our Valemountain Days float this year! We are in search of volunteers to help decorate and be in the parade with us!

Young, old, or in-between if you’d like to be a part of our fun float, please let Kira or Courtney know. 🐠 🌊

‼️Minors need a signed waiver prior to the parade — line-up begins at 10:30 am this Saturday ‼️

We have one remaining appointment open for the Tuesday, June 9 (tomorrow) Free Legal Advice session. Please contact me at the library (250-566-4367) if you'd like to book in!

2:00pm on June 9, 2026, is the next appointment date for legal advice with Barrister Jesse Stamm.
If you have a question you need to ask a lawyer, call the library to register! There are 3 sessions available on June 9. Each session is scheduled for 15-minutes.
Hosted in the meeting room in the library, registrants meet with Jesse virtually over Zoom to ask their questions.
The library is an accessible building with lift to the basement and accessible washrooms.

Kira went to the city on the weekend and came back with a box of new games!

When: June 8th starting at 4:30pm
Where: Valemount Public Library, Meeting Room (downstairs)

Please enter through the automatic doors at the back of the library and head downstairs for the meeting. The front doors will be locked.

The final workshops presented by REAPS (Recycling & Environmental Action Planning Society) are happening on June 10th!

Companion Planting starts at 2pm and ends at 3pm. DIY Herb Garden is scheduled for 3:30 - 4:30pm (right after Companion Planting).

Make sure to join us to get all the latest and greatest ideas!

Presentations will be held downstairs at the library. Please register for this program by calling the library or stopping by! This way, we can make sure we have enough supplies for everyone. :D

Join us on June 3, 2026 at 7pm for An Evening of Poetry featuring Kiyooka Land Trust Foundation 's Artist-in-Residence, Angela Waldie.

Refreshments and social time will follow the reading. This is a free event and will be hosted downstairs at the library.
