The Board of Directors of North House is pleased to announce the appointment of Nathan Gardner as Executive Director, effective April 27, 2026.

Nathan joins North House with extensive leadership experience across the social services, health, and community development sectors. He brings a strong track record of collaborative leadership, strategic thinking, and building responsive, person-centered services that support individuals and families facing complex challenges.

A values-driven leader, Nathan is known for fostering strong partnerships, supporting teams, and working alongside communities to develop practical, compassionate solutions. His approach reflects a deep commitment to equity, dignity, and strengthening the systems that support people experiencing poverty.

The Board is confident that Nathan’s leadership, experience, and commitment to .community-based work will build on North House’s strong programs and support the organization in responding to the evolving needs of those it serves. Did you know we've partnered with Durham Community Health Centre to offer a free Hepatitis C testing clinic at our office? Every third Tuesday of the month from 1pm to 3pm, drop by to learn about Hep C, get tested and/or receive treatment. 💙
