Have you signed up for Ukeelistens?

UkeeListens is a new digital platform that community can use to directly engage with the District of Ucluelet.

Users will be required to register before engaging on the platform. People are welcome to view all the content that UkeeListens provides but without registering cannot use the tools provided on the webpage such as surveys, polls, and questionaries.

Dear Residents,

The Ucluelet skatepark is back open! We would like to extend a big thank you to the skate community for all their patience and input during the expansion process.

New grass was put down as part of the construction. Users are kindly asked to stay off the grass for the time being while it settles.

The District of Ucluelet is seeking three community members to serve on the Barkley Community Forest Corporation Board of Directors for a term of three years (subject to annual confirmation by the District Council).

Applications are due by Monday, June 15, 2026 @ 4:00PM

The Barkley Community Forest Corporation is jointly owned by the District of Ucluelet and Toquaht Nation and exists to support the community by creating local employment, maintaining local control over forest resources, and generating revenue for the shareholders.

Interested candidates are asked to submit a cover letter and resume by e-mail to [email protected].

Stage 1 Water Restrictions for the District of Ucluelet come into effect on Monday, June 1 2026, until October 31, 2026.

Stage 1 Water Restrictions measures are set to take effect on Monday, June 1, 2026. While the current water supply remains at a healthy level, water restrictions will ensure the water supply remains as healthy as possible through the summer.

Small daily changes in water use habits can make a significant impact and help to avoid further restrictions. Doing our part to conserve water now will have a lasting impact for the future – every drop counts.
