🌊🏊‍♀️ Calling All Pool Supporters! 🏊‍♂️🌊

Although we’ve been quiet for some time, our Pool Committee remains fully committed to bringing a community pool to Twillingate — a place where families, seniors, and youth can gather, grow, and thrive.

With the upcoming council election, we are calling upon community-minded individuals who share our mission to step forward and run for council. If you believe in the importance of recreation, wellness, and opportunities for our community, you will have our full support. 💙

Together, we can make this vision a reality for Twillingate!

Hi Everyone! Thanks so much for following us along on this journey to bring a swimming pool back to Twillingate! We are so happy that 99% of visitors to our page voted “yes” to a new pool and support us in this initiative! We have been busy behind the scenes researching, meeting with councils, and creating a plan of action to make this dream a reality. We will be making a more detailed public announcement on our efforts in the coming weeks but for now, let’s take a walk down memory lane! Please share your most memorable stories and pictures from the Twillingate pool below in the comments so we can continue to show our town how important this project is!

Welcome!!!👋🏻☺️

In light of the recent closure of our towns swimming pool, we have formed a committee in hopes of bringing a pool back to Twillingate/NWI. A swimming pool is SO important to our community. It would benefit people of all ages and abilities while ensuring that our children (who live on an island!) learn this lifesaving skill.🏊🏻

We have created this page to bring awareness to our community and gauge interest in having a pool back in our area. We’d love to hear how everyone feels about this initiative and you are all welcome to join our committee and/or attend upcoming meetings which will be posted here.☺️
