📚 The library will be accepting donations until May 27th for our annual book sale on June 6th!

We accept: gently used books, DVDs/Blu-rays, and puzzles

We DO NOT accept: magazines, encyclopedias, condensed reader's digests, manuals, textbooks, excessively damaged/dirty items, or cookbooks older than 5 years.

Please bring donations to the desk in the library during our open hours.
During the sale, books are available by donation.

Celebrate Star Wars Day at Sheep River Library!

We’re excited to showcase an incredible display of Star Wars collectibles from a local patron, who is also a member of the 501st Badlands Garrison (a fan-based group who participates in charitable events, dedicated to brightening the lives of others & building relationships with communities & local charities). The library also has books and movies for all ages, you can borrow free with our library card!

Looking for something fun, creative, and engaging for the kids this summer? We’ve got an exciting lineup of 2026 Summer Camps for a variety of interests and age groups!

🧙‍♂️ Create magic at "Wizarding Worlds"
🐉 Go on an epic quest in "Dragon Adventure Camp"
🎨 Design and build in "Creature Collector & Tiny World Architects"
🌿 Explore nature at "Camp Wildcraft"
🎶 Sing your heart out at "Kananaskis Kids’ Choir Camp"
🤖 Get hands-on with tech at STEAM Camp
