Belonging to a farm family was a special life. When we look at farming we think of barnyard animals, fields being planted and harvested. Behind all of this, there was someone special, keeping the family fed, clothed, clean and healthy.

Good Morning from the museum!

Something exciting is taking shape over here! Don Conrod has been hard at work on our new hay wagon display, putting in many hours to help bring a piece of our agricultural heritage to life.

The project is still underway, but it’s already beginning to showcase the importance of the hay wagon and the role it played in the daily lives of farmers throughout our region. We are grateful for Don’s dedication, craftsmanship, and passion for preserving local history.

Be sure to keep an eye on our page for updates as the display continues to come together. We can’t wait to share the finished result with everyone!

Have a wonderful day!
