Familiar Faces Return as Village Commissioners:

Commissioner Tim Shea
and
Commissioner Dwight Giddens

have been re-elected as Bible Hill Village Commissioners.

The results were as confirmed as follows:
- Shea - 131 votes
- Giddens - 113 votes
- Chaplin - 87 votes
- One ballot was spoiled.

The Village Commission will meet next on June 16, when they’ll elect a Chair and Deputy Chair for the coming year and make committee appointments.

This year marks 80 years of volunteer service by Bible Hill Fire & Emergency.

80 years of learning, leadership, time commitments, teamwork, caring, and protecting community when it matters most.

Over this time, so many local people - our friends and neighbours - have joined and contributed their personal time and efforts to the cause of keeping our community and beyond safe.

BHFE’s 80-year anniversary marks a moment to reflect on their volunteer service and to give thanks for it.

Join us Wed. July 1, for our annual Canada Day Parade & Park Party!

A Canada Day Parade is planned for July 1, starting at 10:00 AM. The parade will start at St. David’s Ave, then move east on Pictou Rd, across Johnson Ave, west on College Rd, across Vimy Rd to Pictou Rd, then back to St. David’s Ave. Traffic control will be in place with street closures.

Vimy Road will be a dedicated Sensory Zone and will have lights, sirens and music turned off on all floats.

Our annual park party kicks off after the parade, at Bible Hill Recreation Park, 38 Guest Dr, from 11 AM to 3 PM, with FREE fun activities for children!

The Bible Hill Recreation Park Splash Pad is OPEN! ☀️

We're excited to announce that the splash pad has opened earlier than anticipated this year thanks to smooth maintenance updates and repairs.

Bring the kids, cool off, and enjoy some summer fun!

Hours of Operation: 9:00 AM – Dusk, daily
Park Location: 38 Guest Drive

Should we need to temporarily close the splash pad for maintenance or upgrades throughout the season, updates will be posted here on our page.
