After last year’s unfortunate cancellation, the 20th Anniversary Cobequid Trail Run is ready to go, and we can’t wait to celebrate this milestone with our community!

Join us for the final event of Colchester Bike Week on Saturday, June 13 at 1:00 p.m. for a fun and relaxed Community Family Ride!

We’ll be departing from 202 Willow St. Trail Head and cruising along the beautiful Cobequid Trail. This ride is perfect for families and all ages.

Let’s celebrate an amazing week of cycling by riding together as a community.

Join us for a sweet summer spin with Hub Cycle as part of Colchester Bike Week!

Friday, June 12
6:30 p.m.
Starting at Central Colchester Junior High (61 Onslow Rd.)
Riding to the Masstown Market & back (~27km)

Enjoy a scenic evening ride, connect with fellow cyclists, and treat yourself to some delicious ice cream at the iconic Masstown Market!

*Must be comfortable riding on roads.*

Be sure to register early, as camps fill up quickly!

Fun in the Sun Day Camp Registration will be open for kids aged 5-12 (those 5 years of age must be entering Grade 1 in September 2026).

July 6 - 10th: Upper Stewiacke Elementary & Redcliff Middle School (Valley)
July 13 - 17th: Cobequid Consolidated (Old Barns) & Chiganois Elementary (Masstown)
July 20 - 24th: South Colchester Academy (Brookfield) & Valley Elementary
July 27 - 31st: West Colchester Consolidated (Bass River) & North River Elementary
*August 4 - 7th: Hilden Elementary & Redcliff Middle School (Valley)
August 10 - 14th: South Colchester Academy (Brookfield) & Debert Elementary
August 17 – 21st: South Colchester Academy (Brookfield) & Valley Elementary

All camps will run from 8:30am-4:00pm.

5 Day Week
1 Child- $125.00
2 Children- $240.00
3 Children- $350.00

*August 4 - 7th (Due to Holiday)
1 Child- $100.00
2 Children- $190.00
3 Children- $280.00

With many students choosing bikes 🚴 as their daily ride to school, it's important for parents and guardians to talk about safe cycling.

These conversations can help young riders to be safe and confident on the road. To help get the wheels turning, here are some conversation starters designed to promote safety and confidence while biking:

✅ Always wear a helmet that fits properly. Buckle it up tight – it should sit level on your head and not wobble.
👕 Wearing bright clothing and using lights or reflectors for riding in the early morning or evening can help you stay more visible to other road users.
🚲 Make sure your bike is the right size for you. If you’re wobbling or tip-toeing to pedal, it’s time to adjust.
🛣️ Always stop at intersections, look both ways, and listen for traffic before crossing. When crossing, remember to get off your bike and walk it across the street.
✅Stick to sidewalks or bike paths when allowed. If you’re on the road, ride in the same direction as traffic.
👋Let others know what you’re doing. Use hand signs when you’re turning or stopping.
⚙️Before each ride, check your brakes, tires, and chain. A quick bike check can prevent a big problem.
✅Riding with a friend or adult is safer and more fun!
