GET INTO THE WORLD CUP SPIRIT AT QUINTE WEST PRESENTS… SOCCER CENTRAL RETURNS! THIS SATURDAY ⚽ 🙌

Soccer fans are invited to the Centennial Park Pavilion in Trenton this Saturday, June 13, from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., for "Quinte West Presents… Soccer Central Returns!", a free, family-friendly outdoor celebration designed to build local community spirit and excitement ahead of the FIFA World Cup.🏆

⚽ Take part in the excitement with high-energy interactive soccer activities, clinics, and games, including bubble soccer, inflatable soccer, and skill-testing challenges, running throughout the afternoon.

🥅 Kick off the excitement at 3 p.m. sharp with a youth Skills and Drills clinic hosted on Centennial Park Field #1. Led by Quinte West Soccer Club head coach and club members. The clinic is open to players aged Under-8 (U8) to Under-13 (U13), born between 2013 and 2018. Don't forget athletic clothing, soccer cleats, shin guards and a water bottle!

🙌 Cheer on a friendly ‘walking soccer’ match at 6 p.m. on Field #1. This showcase event will feature local community leaders playing alongside members of the Quinte West Soccer Club aged 19 and older.

Taste flavours from around the world at the Quinte West Pop-ups, located just steps away in Centennial Park, making it the perfect opportunity to enjoy local international cuisine between matches. 🍱🍨🥧🧋

HIGHWAY 2 PUBLIC INFORMATION CENTRE - JUNE 23 ℹ️

Major construction is planned for the west end of Highway 2 in 2027, including:
🚧 Road reconstruction
🔁 Three new roundabouts at the intersections of County Road 40, Little Farm Boulevard
🚸 New active transportation lanes

DEVELOPERS AND NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS ARE INVITED TO SHARE THEIR VISION FOR QUINTE WEST'S SURPLUS LAND🌳🏘️

Quinte West has issued a Request for Information (RFI) seeking input from housing developers and non-profit organizations on the development of a mixed-income residential community west of the North Murray Industrial Park.

To help the City better understand development opportunities for the site, the RFI seeks input on:

➡️Prospective development concepts and creative ideas for the vision of this community
➡️Potential partnerships between developers and non-profit housing organizations for the development of the lands
➡️Municipal support that could help advance affordable housing development options for this project.
