🖍️💥Here’s a look back at another chance to explore the world of scientific storytelling - recent panel & workshop Narratives in Focus: Crafting Stories and Visuals from Scientific Research. Participants learned about the history of the genre of Graphic Medicine, discovered our very own Graphic Medicine book collection at Gerstein Library, and examined medical journal articles through an artistic lens

This , we’re looking back at the inspiring and insightful moments from our recent visual science communication events in collaboration .UofT! First recap is the Biomedical Communications Student Showcase & Panel. Students interested in the intersection of art and science got to see the creative progression of current students and hear their real-world experiences in developing visual projects to better communicate complex scientific ideas in areas like medical illustration and public health.

Happy Earth Day! 🌎💚

Today we’re putting some sunshine in your feed by featuring our Garden & Seed Library, which includes:
💧Two sustainable vertical gardens (Hortons & Gertie 2.0) which use less water than traditional gardens, to grow fresh herbs and greens that are harvested weekly and given freely to our community
🍃Free flower, herb, and vegetable seeds to bring home
📚🪏Collections of tools and books for indoor and outdoor growing (just ask for gardening tools at the Public Service Desk)
