This is a reminder for all students that Monday, September 14th is the last day to add a course to your Fall schedule.

The last day to drop a course for a full refund will be on Monday, September 21st.

Yesterday, the Survivors’ Flag was raised at our North Campus in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

The Survivors’ Flag honours residential school Survivors, the children who never returned home, and their families and communities.

Miigwetch / Nia:wen / Wela'lioq / Thank you to the community who joined us for the flag raising and who continue to make space for truth, remembrance, and learning across our campuses.

Join us on September 30 as we come together across the Humber community to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and our shared responsibilities toward reconciliation.

✨ WACHAY WEEK 2026 - UPDATED SCHEDULE ✨

Join us August 31 – September 3 for four days of connection, community and new experiences for incoming first-year Indigenous students at Humber Polytechnic and the University of Guelph-Humber!

📍 Monday, August 31: Welcome to Campus
North Campus: 11 a.m.
Lakeshore Campus: 11 a.m.
Meet the IE&E team, explore your campus, enjoy lunch and take part in team-building activities!

🎡 Tuesday, September 1: Connecting with Community
Visit Indigenous community resources and organizations, explore Kensington Market and end the day at the CNE!

🏙️ Wednesday, September 2: Finding Your Supports
Visit Miziwe Biik for a registration and information session, followed by lunch in the Distillery District!

🌊 Thursday, September 3: Land, Water & Wellness
Beach day, kayaking and paddleboarding! *weather permitting*

Lunch and PRESTO/TTC fare will be provided throughout the week.

Already registered? No further action is required, we’ll send final meeting points, transportation details and other important updates directly to registered students.

Day 2 of the imagine NATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival was an inspiring experience for IE&E staff, students, and alumni! 🎬✨

Together, we attended the Short Film Program: What’s to Come and River of Spirits, celebrating Indigenous storytelling, creativity, and perspectives on screen.

Thank you to everyone who joined us as we connected through film, community, and culture. We’re looking forward to more festival screenings and conversations ahead!
