MFT is committed to establish an ecumenical centre under the name House of Abraham for individuals of all faith traditions to gather in peace, to share experiences, and to build together a place of learning and knowledge;

MFT is committed to defend and promote the values of individual freedom, gender equality, human rights, freedom of conscience, free speech, science, and democracy;

MFT is a non-profit community based organization dedicated to the purpose of assisting Muslims in Canada with the help of other Canadians embrace openly and freely the principles and values stated in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms;

MFT distinguishes between Islam, as a monotheistic faith tradition, and Shari’a, as a time bound humanly constructed legal-political system in the name of Islam from the 9th-10th century that is mostly at odds with the modern world;

MFT understands from experience the problems of Muslim radicalism are intimately linked with problems of underdevelopment and failed states, and is committed to address these problems in public forums;

MFT is dedicated to the principle of open intellectual discourse, and of holding conferences, seminars, learning and teaching work shops on subjects relating to religion and culture;

MFT will actively participate in national and international meetings to represent the views of Muslims who believe Islam is open to reform and to new ideas in the advancement of human knowledge, and who oppose extremism in all forms in the name of Islam or any other faith-tradition;

MFT will actively pursue relations with members of Jewish, Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Zoroastrian, Bahai, Sikh, First Nation Aboriginal, other faith traditions, including those who don’t subscribe to any organized religion to advance cross-cultural engagements, and draw upon the collective wisdom of all of the above in advancing our common well-being;

The Council for Muslims Facing Tomorrow stands in solidarity with the Jewish communities for injustice towards the memory of Sarah Halimi.

The highest court in France ruled that the man who killed Sarah Halimi before throwing her out of the window of her Paris apartment while crying “I killed the devil” in a frenzy of hate and violence, cannot stand trial because he was in a state of acute mental delirium due to consumption of drugs.

The family deserves justice and this travesty should not be allowed to stand as it paves the way for more hate and violence due to the epidemic of antisemitism.

Muslims Facing Tomorrow wishes our Jewish friends and supporters a Blessed Rosh Hashanah. May this year be filled with peace and security.

On the same topic, Muslims Facing Tomorrow is delighted with the signing of the “Abraham Accord” – the peace deal between Israel, United Arab Emirates and Bahrain under the auspices of President Donald Trump.

We hope and pray on this Blessed day that many more Muslim countries will follow suit.

Muslims Facing Tomorrow has always supported the Jewish community and stands to combat Antisemitism at all levels and in every form.

Muslims Facing Tomorrow strongly condemns the cowardly attacks by Hamas on the civilian population of Israel. We strongly urge Canada and International community to condemn this assault of a barrage of rockets on innocent men, women and children. Its time the world understood the real meaning of terror instead of turning their face on the true cause of antisemitism which is the destruction of The Jewish people and a blatant disregard for the safety and security of Israels citizens.

This act of mindless destruction upon a place of worship took place in the Holy month of Ramadan in which violence and fighting are forbidden. The hate-filled perpetrators should be strongly punished.

Masjid Mubarak, a 100 years old mosque, was attacked during the night by a violent mob. Next door house was also damaged. Local administration, police office...
