Doors Open Toronto Doors Open Toronto is produced by the City of Toronto. May 24 & 25, 2025 It is Canada's largest Doors Open event and one of the three largest in the world.

Since its inception in 2000, Doors Open Toronto has attracted more than two million visits to nearly 700 unique locations. One weekend, once a year – buildings of architectural, historic, cultural and social significance open their doors to the public for a city-wide celebration. Doors Open Toronto allows visitors free access to properties that are either not usually open to the public, or would n

ormally charge an entrance fee. Many locations have organized guided tours, displays and activities to enrich the visitor experience. Doors Open Toronto invites you to get to know the city, whether you've lived in Toronto all of your life or you're visiting for the first time. See Toronto like you've never seen it before!

Each year, buildings and sites all over the city open their doors for Doors Open Toronto, a celebration of architecture, design and urban space. We can't wait to team up with the community to showcase their sites to residents and visitors!

We're now accepting proposals for the Guided Neighbourhood Tours program for Doors Open Toronto 2026!

Are you a Business Improvement Association, arts group, heritage professional or organizations, or an architectural and design studios? Submit a tour!

Tours will take place on the weekend of Doors Open, May 23 & 24, 2026, and this year’s theme is “The World in a City.”

Submit a tour idea for Doors Open Toronto 2026! We're now accepting proposals for the 2026 Guided Neighbourhood Tours program from Business Improvement Associations, arts groups, heritage professionals and organizations as well as architectural and design professionals and studios.

Tours must take place on the weekend of Doors Open, May 23 & 24, 2026.

What an amazing weekend of Doors Open! 🎉 A BIG thank you to all who participated - from our enthusiastic visitors and incredible sites to our dedicated volunteers!

There is only a few hours left to enjoy but plenty more to squeeze in! Like OCAD University 🎨 Canada's oldest and largest art and design university, with the iconic checkerboard Rosalie Sharp Centre for Design. Visitors can tour shops and studios, get creative by trying art demonstrations and shop for unique student work.
