We were blessed with a visit by the new Provincial of the Hospitaller Order of St. John of God Province of the Good Shepherd, Brother Thomas Osorio.

Br. Thomas met with Good Shepherd Ministries coworkers and toured our facilities. May the spirit of St. John of God guide him as he leads the Province in the faithful and generous expression of our charism of hospitality.

Group 2 is settling into the rhythm of Granada.

Our 2026 Granada Pilgrimage Group 2, Walking in the Footsteps of St. John of God, is taking in the sights, sounds, and flavors of this beautiful city.

From walking the historic streets connected to St. John of God’s life and mission to sharing meals together under the Granada sky, these moments offer time for fellowship, reflection, and connection. Around the table, pilgrims continue to build community and experience the warmth and hospitality that are so central to this journey.

May these shared experiences deepen their appreciation for Granada, for one another, and for the enduring legacy of compassionate service inspired by St. John of God.

The Journey in Granada Continues......

As our first 2026 Granada Pilgrimage group has returned home carrying memories, reflections, and renewed inspiration, we are grateful to welcome Group 2 to "Walking in the Footsteps of St. John of God."

Their arrival marks another meaningful chapter in this pilgrimage experience, as they begin to encounter the places where St. John of God’s compassion took root and where his legacy of hospitality continues to speak to us today.

May Group 2 be blessed with moments of reflection, fellowship, and grace as they walk through Granada and deepen their connection to the mission of compassionate service.

The Provincial and Council. Brother Gary, Brother Thaddeus, Brother Tom, Brother Stephen and Brother Nick.

God of mercy and compassion,
we lift up the new Provincial and Council of the Province of North America.

May they be inspired by St. John of God, filled with his spirit of hospitality, humility, courage, and love for those most in need. May they be guided by the Holy Spirit in every conversation, decision, and act of leadership.

Grant them wisdom as they discern the future of the ministries, clarity as they respond to the needs of the times, and deep compassion as they care for the lives and vocations of the Brothers. Strengthen their unity, deepen their faith, and help them lead with hope, courage, and trust in Your providence.

May all they do serve Your people and continue the healing mission entrusted to them.

Amen.
