Ford's latest attack on our democratic rights?

Press conferences without media.

In Ford's words: “Thank God, we don’t have the media. No questions, no answers. We are good to go.”

With the Legislature closed for 5 months and media not invited to press conferences, it's apparent Ford doesn't believe he should have to answer questions about the $400 million taxpayer subsidy to developers he announced.

SeatGeek just got fined for reselling tickets over face value. Banning outrageous resale prices is a victory for the Ontario's NDP // NPD de l'Ontario

The ONDP pushed for "Putting Fans First" legislation to ban ticket resales above face value. It was passed by all parties last spring.

A developer with no experience building highrises gets picked to lead a project to build 11 skyscrapers in Oakville near one of Ontario's busiest GO stations.

Why was he picked? Maybe because he partnered with a developer who attended Ford's daughter's wedding.

The Town of Oakville did not approve the plan, so the province stepped in and issued four minister's zoning orders (MZO) to proceed with the deal.

The Ford government cut OSAP grants, claiming costs had become “unsustainable.” But FOI records show nearly all of the recent OSAP increases went to private career colleges.

🚨 Last year, just 7 private colleges received $385 million in OSAP.

Instead of fixing the actual problem, the Ford government is making ALL students pay for its own policy failure.

Trade talks collapsed Friday night. Trump's 50% tariffs on $20 billion of Canadian goods are now in effect, and Canada is rightly matching them dollar for dollar.

Doug Ford talks tough, but the legislature he shut down in June isn't scheduled to return until almost November.

The Ontario NDP is demanding he recall the legislature to pass emergency tariff relief NOW.
