Coffee Talk is a welcoming space to reconnect, spend time together, share stories, enjoy some laughs, and continue building the friendships and community that began through Gender Journeys.
Join us for an afternoon featuring an opening drum song and smudge, Indigenous crafts, art and activities, movie nights, guest speakers, sharing circles, and more.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Do you have a child, family member or loved one who identifies as Two-Spirit, transgender, non-binary, gender-diverse, or is questioning their gender identity?

You don’t have to have all the answers. Sometimes the most important thing is having a safe place to ask questions, listen, learn and connect with others who may be walking a similar journey.

2-Spirited People of the 1st Nations – Thunder Bay invites parents, caregivers, family members and loved ones to join us for our Parent & Caregivers Support Circle.

Our circle provides a safe, confidential and respectful space where you can:

Receive support and understanding
Ask questions without judgement
Learn how to better support your loved one

Share experiences and stories
Connect with other parents and caregivers
Explore Indigenous-informed teachings rooted in respect, care and connection

Food and refreshments will be provided.

Whether this journey is new to your family or you have been supporting your loved one for years, you are welcome here.

You are not alone. Your questions are welcome. Your story matters.

Please share so we can reach parents, caregivers and families throughout Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario who may need this support.

BACK TO SCHOOL BBQ

Families of 2-Spirits Toronto! It's Back to School season, and with many of us being guardians as well, we understand how worrisome and tiring this time can be for many. So much time, effort, and resources go into ensuring our children are ready for school, eating enough, and getting enough rest. To give all of you guardians a break, 2-Spirits Toronto is hosting a Back-To-School BBQ! There will be plenty of free food, games such as Anishnaabe Bingo, and many prizes (including a few bikes!) Come join us on the afternoon and evening of September 15th at Oakcrest Park. It's guaranteed to be a great time!
