AWO hopes that the young members of our communities have had a great first week in their new school year. We recommend to parents to continue communicating patiently and positively with their children, allowing them to exercise their developing independence, be in touch with the school and other systems for guidance and support when required.

As developmental psychologist Jean Piaget reminds us: “ The main goal of education is to foster creativity, independent thinking, and invention rather than rote memorization.”. 🌎
