Canada is, has, and always will be a steadfast ally in Ukraine’s relentless pursuit of freedom.

To this end, Prime Minister Carney welcomed President Zelenskyy to Canada this week to forge a new chapter in the Canada-Ukraine partnership.

The leaders announced a series of new initiatives to bolster Canada’s sovereign drone capabilities, expand coproduction with Ukraine, and establish long-term cooperation on defence and security.

▪️Venemaast lähtuvat ohtu ja võimalikke provokatsioone NATO vastu tuleb võtta tõsiselt ja seda liitlased ka teevad. Peame olema valvsad, kuid Eesti ohuhinnang ei ole muutunud.

▪️NATO liitlased on viimastel aastatel astunud märkimisväärseid samme kollektiivkaitse ja liitlaste kaitsevõime tugevdamiseks. Kõige parem heidutus on ühtne ja tugev NATO ning selge teadmine Moskvas, et allianss on valmis kaitsma iga sentimeetrit liitlaste territooriumist.

▪️Venemaa Ukraina-vastase agressiooni vältel on Ameerika Ühendriikide ametiisikud regulaarselt venemaa esindajatega kohtunud, seega ei tasu omistada CIA direktori visiidile murrangulist kaalu. Eesti🇪🇪 on kõigi oma liitlastega, sealhulgas Ameerika Ühendriikdiega, tihedas ühenduses, vahendame omavahel informatsiooni ja pingutame selle nimel, et venemaa mõistaks NATO ühtsust ja kindlameelsust oma territooriumi kaitsmisel.

▪️Eesti ja kogu NATO huvides on, et venemaa ei teeks NATO kollektiivkaitse osas valearvestust. Mida selgemalt annavad liitlased Moskvale mõista, et NATO kollektiivkaitse püsib raudkindel, seda parem.
