At Red Door Family Shelter, 60% of our residents are children. Each one of them needs a healthy school lunch to help fuel their learning power. That's $32,000 in lunches every school year.

"We believe that when people move together, they grow together. Let’s build community—one step, one smile, and one dance at a time!" –Sass & Spurs

Thank you, SASS & SPURS, for continuing to support women, children, and families at Red Door through your line dancing fundraisers — and for bringing your community together for your Friday, September 18 event, which is officially sold out.

The kindness of everyone you’ve brought together through dance is helping create the time, space, and support families need to heal, rebuild, and find lasting safety and stability.

Diapers are one of the most requested — and least donated — items needed by families with young children. They are expensive and essential.

Host a diaper drive — help keep babies safe, clean, and comfortable — and make a meaningful difference.

Bring your workplace, school, club, or community together and help ensure parents don't have to make impossible choices between buying diapers or putting food on the table.

Whether it's a one-day challenge, a week-long campaign, or an ongoing collection, every package of diapers helps families care for their babies with dignity.

Hosting a diaper drive is a simple way to make a meaningful impact while bringing people together around a shared purpose.

Your event can:
• Strengthen teamwork and community spirit
• Engage employees, students, members, customers, etc.
• Demonstrate a commitment to giving back·
• Create a fun, meaningful activity
• Help Toronto families maintain safe, stable housing

We've Made It Easy — When you register your diaper drive, we'll provide complimentary resources to help you promote your event, encourage participation, and celebrate your impact.

Paneer is walking for women and children fleeing violence.

For families escaping violence, leaving home can mean leaving behind everything familiar.

At Red Door, they find safety, support, counselling, children’s programs, and help building a
path forward.

Led by Red Door’s four-legged office ambassador, Paneer, Team Paneer & Pals is taking part in the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation Night Light Walk to help women and children rebuild their lives in safety.

Every step (and tail wag) helps light the way to safety.

Running for Red Door means running for shoes for children and youth.

For many children living in poverty, worn-out shoes are one of the most visible signs of hardship.

You know how important shoes are! A new pair of properly fitting shoes can improve confidence, increase physical activity, and help children participate fully at school and in sports.

Educators reported improvements in confidence (94%), self-esteem (92%), social interaction (85%), and physical activity (74%) after children received new shoes.

The fastest way to help isn't by donating shoes—it's by sponsoring a runner.

Financial donations allow us to purchase new footwear when it's needed, in the correct size, and for the activities each child enjoys. It ensures every child receives properly fitting shoes that are comfortable, practical, and uniquely theirs.
